To those who've been following this blog, sorry =/ This would be my last entry about the zoo I swear! =)

Yes, it was a freaking warm day at the zoo. Wearing the SPECKATO stripe top was appropraite but heels?! -____- All visitors of the zoo should know that they gotta spend quite a few hours walking around inorder to SEE the animals LIVE! Can heels serve that purpose? I highly doubt it man. They've got sexy back views though. xD

1. Our MRT trains are designed with the most sucky handles when compared to other subway systems! WHY ARE HANDRAILS SITUATED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE? Most of the time, people are listening to their mp3. Gotta shout EXCUSE ME dont know how many hundred, billion, million times, then the person in front will give way. By the time the person in front say SORRY and give way, the doors CLOSED. *Argghhh*
2. Plus! Singaporeans DONT LIKE TO SMILE ONE! Don't believe sassyporcupine, just check out the crowd on the bloody train in the morning YOURSELF.
3. Very appalling phenomenon is that ar many Singaporeans give very little or null respect to their maids! 'YOU STUPID IS IT? ASK YOU WAIT HERE YOU WAIT HERE. NO EYES IS IT? CANNOT SEE MADAM STANDING OVER THERE? CANNOT WALK OVER? MUST MAKE MADAM WALK TO YOU AND INVITE YOU OVER IS IT?' chee byee employer!

5. Singapore really must build more recreational area man...it's always this North park, South park, East park, West park, Central park. I haven complain about the freaking zoo yet! Been spending lots of time surfing the net, reading tons of articles and I've noticed the most is the INSANE tendancy of people to critisize others for their spelling and grammatical errors! Is there some sort of undercover SPELLING police that I totally ain't aware of or a certain SPELLING oath that I failed to make?

It is incredibly shallow to judge a person's ability to spell and organize their sentence structure recognizing that usually on tag boards, blogger's network, forums emotions and opinions are high. Furthermore, the people are hardly in their state of mind to bother about such things. It is extremely distateful, petty and very reflective of the character THAT individual who would make nasty comments and feels the need to point these things out.

Made a trip down to bugis area - 四马路观音庙 (it’s a temple). The minute I stepped into the altar hall, ashes fell onto my shoulders. I looked up and saw this:

Notice the strips of paper attached in the middle? I got curious about what people wrote and began reading them. Nothing much, just the common wishes for prosperity in their business, good health and even things like HUAT AR or tio toto!

Just as I wanted to venture other areas, saw one 老爷爷 putting up his spiral incense and stood beneath it for about 10 minutes. He left.

I went over to take a peek of what’s written, just one word – “谅”. Simply meant forgiveness. I’ve got no idea what went wrong for that old chap. However, I’m aware that my heart was cringing terribly. Having spent so much time trying to conform to lots of expectations, I admit that I lost my self-worth and sense of purpose even to the extent of hurting people whom I treasure.

Ultimately, what I hope for is that one word “谅” as well. The spiral takes just a few hours to finish burning upwards but, forgiving someone takes hell lots of courage to be able to face the other party and generating the thought of forgiving someone takes hell lots of time.

I went to get myself spiral incense too. Wrote “宽容”. Hopefully things will change for the better.
